§18.47.1διελθούσης δὲ τῆς πανηγύρεως πρώτοις μὲν ἐχρημάτισαν τοῖς παρʼ Ἀντιόχου πρεσβευταῖς, διακελευόμενοι τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς Ἀσίας πόλεων τῶν μὲν αὐτονόμων ἀπέχεσθαι καὶ μηδεμιᾷ πολεμεῖν, ὅσας δὲ νῦν παρείληφε τῶν ὑπὸ Πτολεμαῖον καὶ Φίλιππον ταττομένων, ἐκχωρεῖν.
When the festival was over, they dealt first of all with the envoys from Antiochus, commanding them to keep their hands off those cities in Asia that were autonomous and not to make war on any of them, and to evacuate all those which he had now taken of those formerly subject to Ptolemy and Philip.
§18.47.2σὺν δὲ τούτοις προηγόρευον μὴ διαβαίνειν εἰς τὴν Εὐρώπην μετὰ δυνάμεως· οὐδένα γὰρ ἔτι τῶν Ἑλλήνων οὔτε πολεμεῖσθαι νῦν ὑπʼ οὐδενὸς οὔτε δουλεύειν οὐδενί.
In addition to this, they warned him not to cross over into Europe with an army; for no Greek was any longer either to be attacked by anyone or to be subject to anyone.
§18.47.3καθόλου δὲ καὶ ἐξ αὑτῶν τινας ἔφασαν ἥξειν πρὸς τὸν Ἀντίοχον.
And in general, they stated that some of their own number would go to Antiochus.
§18.47.4ταύτας μὲν οὖν οἱ περὶ τὸν Ἡγησιάνακτα καὶ Λυσίαν λαβόντες τὰς ἀποκρίσεις ἐπανῆλθον·
So Hegesianax and Lysias and their company, having received these answers, returned.
§18.47.5μετὰ δὲ τούτους εἰσεκαλοῦντο πάντας τοὺς ἀπὸ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ πόλεων παραγεγονότας, καὶ τὰ δόξαντα τῷ συνεδρίῳ διεσάφουν.
After them, they called in all the representatives who had arrived from the nations and cities, and made clear to them the decisions of the council.
§18.47.6Μακεδόνων μὲν οὖν τοὺς Ὀρέστας καλουμένους διὰ τὸ προσχωρῆσαι σφίσι κατὰ τὸν πόλεμον αὐτονόμους ἀφεῖσαν, ἠλευθέρωσαν δὲ Περραιβοὺς καὶ Δόλοπας καὶ Μάγνητας.
Now, they released as autonomous those of the Macedonians called Orestae because they had joined them during the war, and they set free the Perrhaebians, Dolopians, and Magnetes.
§18.47.7Θετταλοῖς δὲ μετὰ τῆς ἐλευθερίας καὶ τοὺς Ἀχαιοὺς τοὺς Φθιώτας προσένειμαν, ἀφελόμενοι Θήβας τὰς Φθίας καὶ Φάρσαλον·
To the Thessalians, along with their freedom, they assigned the Phthiotic Achaeans, having deprived them of Phthiotic Thebes and Pharsalus.
§18.47.8οἱ γὰρ Αἰτωλοὶ περί τε τῆς Φαρσάλου μεγάλην ἐποιοῦντο φιλοτιμίαν, φάσκοντες αὑτῶν δεῖν ὑπάρχειν κατὰ τὰς ἐξ ἀρχῆς συνθήκας, ὁμοίως δὲ καὶ περὶ Λευκάδος.
For the Aetolians were making a great claim concerning Pharsalus, asserting that it ought to belong to them under the original treaty, and likewise also concerning Leucas.
§18.47.9οἱ δʼ ἐν τῷ συνεδρίῳ περὶ μὲν τούτων τῶν πόλεων ὑπερέθεντο τοῖς Αἰτωλοῖς τὸ διαβούλιον πάλιν ἐπὶ τὴν σύγκλητον, τοὺς δὲ Φωκέας καὶ τοὺς Λοκροὺς συνεχώρησαν αὐτοῖς ἔχειν, καθάπερ εἶχον καὶ πρότερον, ἐν τῇ συμπολιτείᾳ.
But the members of the council postponed the deliberation concerning these cities for the Aetolians, referring it back to the Senate, but they allowed them to have the Phocians and Locrians in their league, just as they had them before.
§18.47.10Κόρινθον δὲ καὶ τὴν Τριφυλίαν καὶ τὴν Ἡραιῶν πόλιν Ἀχαιοῖς ἀπέδωκαν.
They restored Corinth, Triphylia, and the city of Heraea to the Achaeans.
Ὠρεὸν δʼ, ἔτι δὲ τὴν Ἐρετριέων πόλιν ἐδόκει μὲν τοῖς πλείοσιν Εὐμένει δοῦναι· §18.47.11Τίτου δὲ πρὸς τὸ συνέδριον διαστείλαντος οὐκ ἐκυρώθη τὸ διαβούλιον· διὸ καὶ μετά τινα χρόνον ἠλευθερώθησαν αἱ πόλεις αὗται διὰ τῆς συγκλήτου καὶ σὺν ταύταις Κάρυστος.
As for Oreus, and also the city of the Eretrians, the majority indeed favored giving them to Eumenes; but since Titus made representations against this to the council, the decision was not ratified; wherefore after some time these cities were set free by the Senate, and along with them Carystus.
§18.47.12ἔδωκαν δὲ καὶ Πλευράτῳ Λυχνίδα καὶ Πάρθον, οὔσας μὲν Ἰλλυρίδας, ὑπὸ Φίλιππον δὲ ταττομένας.
They also gave Lychnis and Parthus to Pleuratus, which, though Illyrian, had been subject to Philip.
§18.47.13Ἀμυνάνδρῳ δὲ συνεχώρησαν, ὅσα παρεσπάσατο κατὰ πόλεμον ἐρύματα τοῦ Φιλίππου, κρατεῖν τούτων.
And to Amynander they permitted to retain all such strongholds of Philip as he had seized during the war.
