For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, and it will burn them up, and all the foreigners and all those who do lawless things shall be stubble, and the coming day will set them on fire, says the Lord Almighty, and there shall not be left of them a root or a branch.
§4.2καὶ ἀνατελεῖ ὑμῖν τοῖς φοβουμένοις τὸ ὄνομά μου ἥλιος δικαιοσύνης, καὶ ἴασις ἐν ταῖς οπτέρυξιν αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐξελεύσεσθε καὶ σκιρτήσετε ὡς μοσχάρια ἐκ δεσμῶν ἀνειμένα.
And to you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise, and healing is in its wings; and you shall go out and leap like calves released from bonds.
§4.3καὶ καταπατήσετε ἀνόμους, διότι ἔσονται σποδὸς ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐγὼ ποιῶ, λέγει Κύριος Παντοκράτωρ.
And you shall tread down the lawless, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I make, says the Lord Almighty.
§4.4Καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω ὑμῖν Ἠλίαν τὸν Θεσβίτην πρὶν ἐλθεῖλ ἡμέραν Κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ, §4.5ὸς ἀποκαταστήσει καρδίαν πατρὸς πρὸς υἱὸν καὶ καρδίαν ἀνθρώπου πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῖῦ, μὴ ἔλθω καὶ πατάξω τὴν γῆν ἄρδην.
And behold, I send to you Elijah the Tishbite before the great and manifest day of the Lord comes, who will restore the heart of a father to his son and the heart of a man to his neighbor, lest I come and strike the earth utterly.
§4.6Μνήσθητε νόμου Μωσῇ τοὺ δούλου μου, καθότι ἐνετειλάμην αὐτῷ ἐν Κωρὴβ πρὸς πάντα τὸν Ἰσραήλ, προστάγματα καὶ δικαιώματα.
