And the Lord said to me, "Go again, and love a woman who loves evil and is an adulteress, even as God loves the children of Israel, yet they look to other gods and love raisin cakes." So I bought her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver, a homer of barley, and a nebel of wine.
And I said to her, "For many days you shall abide for me; you shall not commit whoredom, nor shall you belong to any man; and I likewise will be for you." For many days the children of Israel shall abide without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without altar, and without priesthood, and without manifestations.
Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they shall come in awe to the Lord and to his goodness in the latter days.
