1. 9.2ἐν Ῥάγοις — Although accompanied by the verb of motion πορεύθητι ("go"), the preposition ἐν with the dative is used instead of εἰς with the accusative to express direction. This is a typical Koine Greek feature where the distinction between motion toward and rest in a place became blurred.
2. 9.3μὴ ἐξελθεῖν με — An infinitive phrase with an accusative subject (με), serving as the object of ὀμώμοχεν ("has sworn"). It means "that I should not depart," referring back to the oath mentioned in 8.20 where Raguel made Tobias swear not to leave until the fourteen days of the wedding feast were fulfilled.
3. 9.5τὸ χειρόγραφον — Literally "handwritten document," referring here to the "receipt" or "promissory note" exchanged when Tobit originally left the money in trust with Gabael.
4. 9.6Γωβείας — A proper name found in some manuscripts (such as Vaticanus). It is generally understood as a variant spelling or scribal error for "Tobias" (Τωβείας), indicating that Tobias blessed his wife. Other manuscripts preserve a variant reading where "Gabael (Γαβαηλ) blessed Tobias and his wife."
