μετὰ δε ἡκόντων ἐς τὸ πεδίον τὸ Σαλαμινίων τῶν Περσέων, διέτασσον οἱ βασιλέες τῶν Κυπρίων, τοὺς μὲν ἄλλους Κυπρίους κατὰ τοὺς ἄλλους στρατιώτας ἀντιτάσσοντες, Σαλαμινίων δὲ καὶ Σολίων ἀπολέξαντες τὸ ἄριστον ἀντέτασσον Πέρσῃσι·
After this, when the Persians had come into the plain of the Salaminians, the kings of Cyprus marshalled their forces, posturing the other Cypriots against the other soldiers of the enemy, but selecting the best of the Salaminians and Solians, they arrayed them against the Persians.
Ἀρτυβίῳ δὲ τῷ στρατηγῷ τῶν Περσέων ἐθελοντὴς ἀντετάσσετο Ὀνήσιλος.
Against Artybius, the general of the Persians, Onesilus arrayed himself by his own choice.
