[ULPIANUS libro octauo decimo ad Sabinum. ] §7.5.3.prPost quod omnium rerum usus fructus legari poterit.
[ULPIANUS in the eighteenth book on Sabinus.] After this [senatusconsult], the usufruct of all things could be bequeathed.
an et nominum? Nerua negauit: sed est uerius, quod Cassius et Proculus existimant, posse legari.
Whether also of debts? Nerva denied it: but that which Cassius and Proculus think, that it can be bequeathed, is more correct.
idem tamen Nerua ipsi quoque debitori posse usum fructum legari scribit et remittendas ei usuras.
Yet the same Nerva writes that a usufruct can be bequeathed to the debtor himself as well, and that the interest is to be remitted to him.
