[MARCIANUS libro secundo institutionum. ] §48.22.4.prRelegati in insulam in potestate sua liberos retinent, quia et alia omnia iura sua retinent: tantum enim insula eis egredi non licet.
[Marcianus, Institutes, Book II.] Those who are relegated to an island retain their children under their own power, because they also retain all their other rights; for they are merely not allowed to leave the island.
et bona quoque sua omnia retinent praeter ea, si qua eis adempta sunt: nam eorum, qui in perpetuum exilium dati sunt uel relegati, potest quis sententia partem bonorum adimere.
And they also retain all their property, except for such as has been taken away from them; for, by a sentence, one can deprive those who have been given into perpetual exile or relegated of a part of their property.
