1. §41.1.2.pruel quae ex his apud nos sunt edita — This section is compiled to connect directly with the sentence "become the property of those who capture them" (capientium fiunt) in the preceding fragment of Gaius (41.1.1.1). The relative pronoun `quae` is neuter plural nominative, either supplying the subject `animalia` from the previous sentence or acting substantively as a noun clause. `apud nos` (in our possession) refers to the state of being under human control or custody rather than a merely geographical location.
