[NERATIUS libro septimo membranarum.
[NERATIUS in the seventh book of the Parchments.] To a person also who is granted an action for legacies against one who, ignoring the institution of an heir, possesses the inheritance as an heir on intestacy, security for the legacies is given; and, if security is not given, he is put into possession for the purpose of preserving the legacies. For the praetor wishes these also to be preserved in the same manner as those which are due by civil law.
idem Aristoni placet.
Aristo is of the same opinion.
