[AFRICANUS, from the Book of Questions.] He replied that where a son-in-power or a slave has been instituted as heir, even if the legacy was given unlawfully or shamefully to punish the father or master, it is of no validity; for not only that which is written to the detriment of the heirs³, but everything written in a testament for such a punishment of anyone who receives any benefit from the last will, must be held of no validity.
