[HERMOGENIANUS, from the second book of Epitomes of Law.] If the property of a pupil should perish by an inroad of robbers, or if a banker to whom the tutor gave money, although he had been of the highest repute, cannot repay the whole amount, the tutor is not compelled to make good anything on that account.
