[MARCIANUS, Institutes, Book 3.] Extraordinary punishment is inflicted upon those who are proved to have seized a guardianship by giving money, or to have exerted themselves for a price to have an unfit guardian appointed, or who have intentionally diminished the amount in declaring the estate, or have alienated the property of pupils with evident fraud.
