1. 8.44.1Τοῦτον ... τὸν χρόνον — Τοῦτον τὸν χρόνον ("this time") is the direct object (accusative) of the middle imperative second-person singular χάρισαι (from χαρίζομαι, "to gift, grant"), meaning "gift this time to yourself (σεαυτῷ)." While it could theoretically be interpreted as an accusative of time ("during this time, indulge yourself"), it is more natural to take it as the direct object in this context.
2. 8.44.1οὓς βαροῦνται — οὓς βαροῦνται ("whom they find burdensome"): The verb βαροῦνται is the passive of βαρύνω ("to weigh down"), used here in the intransitive/passive sense of "to feel burdened by, be weary of," taking the accusative relative pronoun οὓς as the object of their annoyance.
