At about the same time, Athenaeus sailed in with eighty decked ships; of which five were quadriremes belonging to the Rhodians who had been dispatched to the Cretan War, twenty belonged to the Cyzicenes, twenty-seven to Attalus and his followers, and the remainder to the other allies.
§33.13.3ποιησάμενος δὲ τὸν πλοῦν ἐφʼ Ἑλλησπόντου καὶ συνάψας ταῖς πόλεσι ταῖς ὑπὸ Προυσίαν ταττομέναις ἀποβάσεις τε συνεχεῖς ἐποιεῖτο καὶ κακῶς διετίθει τὴν χώραν.
Having steered his course towards the Hellespont and reached the cities under the rule of Prusias, he made continuous landings and ravaged their territory.

§33.13.5οἳ καὶ παραγενόμενοι πρὸς τὴν Ἀσίαν διέλυσαν τὸν πόλεμον, εἰς τὰς τοιαύτας συνθήκας ἐπαγαγόμενοι τοὺς βασιλέας ἀμφοτέρους, §33.13.6ὥστε παραχρῆμα μὲν εἴκοσι καταφράκτους νῆας ἀποδοῦναι Προυσίαν Ἀττάλῳ, πεντακόσια δὲ τάλαντα κατενεγκεῖν ἐν ἔτεσιν εἴκοσι· §33.13.7τὴν δὲ χώραν ἀμφοτέρους ἔχειν ἣν καὶ πρότερον εἶχον, ὅτʼ εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ἐνέβαινον. §33.13.8διορθώσασθαι δὲ Προυσίαν καὶ τὴν καταφθορὰν τῆς χώρας τῆς τε Μηθυμναίων καὶ τῶν Αἰγαιέων καὶ τῆς Κυμαίων καὶ Ἡρακλειωτῶν, ἑκατὸν τάλαντα δόντα τοῖς προειρημένοις. §33.13.9γραφεισῶν δʼ ἐπὶ τούτοις τῶν συνθηκῶν, ἀπῆγον τὰς δυνάμεις εἰς τὴν οἰκείαν οἱ περὶ τὸν Ἄτταλον, τὰς ναυτικὰς καὶ τὰς πεζικάς.
These men, on arriving in Asia, brought the war to an end, inducing both kings to accept a treaty on the following terms: namely, that Prusias should immediately deliver twenty decked ships to Attalus, and pay five hundred talents over twenty years; and that both should retain the territory which they had previously held when they entered the war; and that Prusias should also compensate for the devastation of the territories of the Methymnaeans, Aegaeans, Cymaeans, and Heracleots, by paying one hundred talents to the aforementioned; When the treaty had been drawn up on these terms, Attalus and his men withdrew their forces, both naval and land, to their own country.
