§13.1Ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἔσται πᾶς τόπος διανοιγόμενος τῷ οἴκῳ Δαυεὶδ καὶ τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν Ἰερουσαλὴμ εἰς τὴν μετακίνησιν καὶ εἰς τὸν χωρισμόν.
In that day every place shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem for removal and for separation.
§13.2καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ, λέγει Κύριος σαβαώθ, ἐξολεθρεύσω τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν εἰδώλων ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσται αὐτῶν μνεία· καὶ τοὺς ψευδοπροφήτας καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἀκάθαρτον ἐξαρῶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς.
And it shall be in that day, says the Lord of hosts, I will destroy the names of the idols from the land, and there shall no longer be any remembrance of them; and I will remove the false prophets and the unclean spirit from the land.
§13.3καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν προφητεύσῃ ἄνθρωπος ἔτι, καὶ ἐρεῖ πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ, οἱ γεννήσαντες αὐτόν Οὐ ζήσῃ, ὅτι ψευδῆ ἐλάλησας ἐπʼ ὀνόματι Κυρίου· καὶ συμποδιοῦσιν αὐτὸν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ αὐτοῦ, οἱ γεννήσαντες αὐτόν, ἐν τῷ προφητεύειν αὐτόν.
And it shall be, if a man should still prophesy, his father and his mother who bore him shall say to him, "You shall not live, because you have spoken lies in the name of the Lord"; and his father and his mother who bore him shall bind him as he prophesies.
§13.4καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ κείνῃ καταισχυνθήσονται οἱ προφῆται, ἕκαστος ἐκ τῆς ὁράσεως αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ προφητεύειν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐνδύσονται δέρριν τριχίνην ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐψεύσαντο.
And it shall be in that day, the prophets shall be ashamed, each of his vision as he prophesies, and they shall put on a hairy garment because they lied.
§13.5καὶ ἐρεῖ Οὐκ εἰμὶ προφήτης ἐγώ, διότι ἄνθρωπος ἐργαζόμενος τὴν γῆν ἐγὼ εἰμι, ὅτι ἄνθρωπος ἐγέννησέν με ἐκ νεότητός μου. §13.6καὶ ἐρεῖ πρὸς αὐτόν Τί αἱ πληγαὶ αὗται ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν χειρῶαν σου; καὶ ἐρεῖ Ἀs ἐπλήγην ἐν τῶ οἴκῳ τῷ ἀγαπητῷ μου. §13.7Ῥομφαία, ἐξεγέρθητι ἐπὶ τοὺς ποιμένας μου καὶ ἐπ᾿ ἄνδρα πολίτην μου, λέγει Κύριος ΙΙαντοκράτωρ· πατάξατε τοὺς ποιμένας καὶ ἐκσπάσατε τὰ πρόβατα, καὶ ἐπάξω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς μικρούς. §13.8καὶ ἔσται ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ, λέγει Κύριος. τὰ δύο μέρη αὐτῆς ἐξολεθρευθήσεται καὶ ἐκλείψει, τὸ δέ τρίτον ὑπολειφθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ·
And he shall say, "I am not a prophet, for I am a man who tills the ground, because a man has brought me up from my youth." And one shall say to him, "What are these wounds between your hands?" And he shall say, "Those with which I was wounded in the house of my beloved." "Awake, O sword, against my shepherds, and against the man who is my fellow citizen," says the Lord Almighty; "strike the shepherds and draw out the sheep, and I will bring my hand upon the little ones." "And it shall be in all the land," says the Lord, "two parts of it shall be destroyed and shall fail, but the third part shall be left in it.
§13.9καὶ διάξω τὸ τρίτον διὰ πυρός, καὶ πυρώσω αὐτοὺς ὡς πυροῦται τὸ ἀργύριον, καὶ δοκιμῶ αὐτοὺς ὡς δοκιμάζεται τὸ χρυσίον·
"And I will bring the third part through fire, and I will refine them as silver is refined, and I will try them as gold is tried.
αὐτὸς ἐπικαλέσεται τὸ ὄνομά μου, κἀγὼ ἐπακούσομαι αὐτῷ, καὶ ἐρῶ Λαός μου οὗτός ἐστιν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐρεῖ Κύριος ὁ θεός μοι.
He shall call upon my name, and I will hear him; and I will say, 'This is my people,' and he shall say, 'The Lord is my God.'"
