Ὡς Θ. ἱστόρηκε καὶ τῆς ἀργίας νόμον οὐ Σόλων ἔθηκε ἀλλὰ Πεισίστρατος, ᾧ τήν τε χώραν ἐνεργεστέραν καὶ τὴν πόλιν ἠρεμαιοτέραν ἐποίησεν.
As Theophrastus has recorded, the law against idleness also was enacted not by Solon but by Peisistratus, by which he made the countryside more productive and the city more peaceful.
