Διὰ τοῦτο οὖν ἐν τρισὶν αὐτὸν τὸν ἥλιον ἔλεγον φέρεσθαι σφαίραις, ἂς Θ. ἀνάστρους ἐκάλει ὡς μηδὲν ἐχούσας ἄστρον.
For this reason, then, they said that the sun itself was carried in three spheres, which Theophrastus called "starless" as having no star.
