1. §115.1ταχεῖαν μὲν ἔχουσα τὴν πρόσοδον βραδεῖαν δὲ τὴν ἀπόλυσιν — The adjectives ταχεῖαν and βραδεῖαν are placed in the predicative position (outside the article and noun phrase τὴν πρόσοδον and τὴν ἀπόλυσιν). Thus, they function predicatively with respect to the objects of the participle ἔχουσα, meaning 'having its onset [as] swift, but its release [as] slow.'
