§24.1ἀπὸ δὲ τοῦ Ψιλοῦ καλουμένου στόματος τοῦ Ἴστρου ἐς τὸ δεύτερον στόμα στάδιοι ἑξήκοντα.
From the so-called Psilon mouth of the Ister to the second mouth it is 60 stadia.
ἐνθένδε ἐπὶ τὸ Καλὸν καλούμενον στόμα στάδιοι τεσσαράκοντα.
From here to the so-called Kalon mouth it is 40 stadia.
καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ Καλοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ Νάρακον ὧδε ὀνομαζόμενον στόμα τέταρτον τοῦ Ἴστρου στάδιοι ἑξήκοντα.
And from the Kalon mouth to the fourth mouth of the Ister, named Narakon, it is 60 stadia.
§24.2ἐνθένδε ἐπὶ τὸ πέμπτον εἴκοσι καὶ ἑκατόν, καὶ ἔνθεν ἐς Ἰστρίαν πόλιν στάδιοι πεντακόσιοι.
From here to the fifth mouth it is 120 stadia, and from there to the city of Istria it is 500 stadia.
ἐνθένδε ἐς Τομέα πόλιν στάδιοι τριακόσιοι.
From here to the city of Tomis it is 300 stadia.
§24.3ἀπὸ δὲ Τομέως ἐς Κάλλατιν πόλιν ἄλλοι τριακόσιοι· ὅρμος ναυσίν.
From Tomis to the city of Callatis it is another 300 stadia, where there is an anchorage for ships.
ἐνθένδε ἐς Καρῶν λιμένα ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ἑκατόν· καὶ ἡ γῆ ἐν κύκλῳ τοῦ λιμένος Καρία κλῄζεται.
From here to the Harbor of the Carians it is 180 stadia, and the land around the harbor is called Caria.
ἀπὸ δὲ Καρῶν λιμένος ἐς Τετρισιάδα στάδιοι εἴκοσι καὶ ἑκατόν.
From the Harbor of the Carians to Tetrisias it is 120 stadia.
ἐνθένδε ἐς Βιζώνην χῶρον ἔρημον στάδιοι ἑξήκοντα.
From here to Bizone, a deserted place, it is 60 stadia.
§24.4ἀπὸ δὲ Βιζώνης ἐς Διονυσόπολιν στάδιοι ὀγδοήκοντα.
From Bizone to Dionysopolis it is 80 stadia.
ἐνθένδε ἐς Ὀδησσὸν διακόσιοι· ὅρμος ναυσίν.
From here to Odessus it is 200 stadia, where there is an anchorage for ships.
ἐκ δὲ Ὀδησσοῦ ἐς τοῦ Αἵμου τὰς ὑπωρείας, αἳ δὴ ἐς τὸν Πόντον καθήκουσιν, στάδιοι τριακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα.
From Odessus to the foothills of Haemus, which indeed extend into the Pontus, it is 360 stadia.
καὶ δεῦρο ὅρμος ναυσίν.
And here too there is an anchorage for ships.
ἐκ δὲ τοῦ Αἵμου ἐς Μεσημβρίαν πόλιν ἐνενήκοντα· §24.5ὅρμος ναυσίν.
From Haemus to the city of Mesembria it is 90 stadia, where there is an anchorage for ships.
καὶ ἐκ Μεσημβρίας ἐς Ἀγχίαλον πόλιν στάδιοι ἑβδομήκοντα, καὶ ἐξ Ἀγχιάλου ἐς Ἀπολλωνίαν ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ἑκατόν.
And from Mesembria to the city of Anchialus it is 70 stadia, and from Anchialus to Apollonia it is 180 stadia.
αὗται πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις Ἑλληνίδες §24.6εἰσίν, ᾠκισμέναι ἐν τῇ Σκυθίᾳ, ἐν ἀριστερᾷ ἐσπλέοντι ἐς τὸν Πόντον.
All these cities are Greek, founded in Scythia, on the left of one sailing into the Pontus.
ἐκ δὲ Ἀπολλωνίας ἐς Χερρόνησον στάδιοι ἑξήκοντα· ὅρμος ναυσίν.
From Apollonia to Cherronesus it is 60 stadia, where there is an anchorage for ships.
καὶ ἐκ Χερρονήσου ἐς Αὐλαίου τεῖχος πεντήκοντα καὶ διακόσιοι.
And from Cherronesus to the Wall of Aulaios it is 250 stadia.
ἐνθένδε ἐς Θυνιάδα ἀκτὴν εἴκοσι καὶ ἑκατόν.
From here to the Thynias beach it is 120 stadia.
ἀπὸ δὲ Θυνιάδος ἐς Σαλμυδησσὸν στάδιοι διακόσιοι.
From Thynias to Salmydessus it is 200 stadia.
