Calculating this, he had revealed nothing to the Phocians, and to the Thessalians he spoke as follows: "O men of Thessaly, as you see, I am hastening at full speed to march into Thrace, and am in a hurry, having been sent on a certain business from the camp with these men; and Mardonius himself and his army, marching close on my heels, is to be expected by you.
