[PAPINIANUS libro tertio quaestionum.
[PAPINIANUS in his third book of Questions.] If a bona fide possessor of an inheritance wishes to litigate with the debtors of the inheritance or with those who have occupied the things belonging to the inheritance, he shall be heard, especially if there is a danger that the rights of action may be lost during the delays.
The claimant of the inheritance, however, will be able to bring an action in rem without fear of an exception: for what if the possessor of the inheritance should be negligent? What if he knows that he has no right?
