[PAULUS, on Sabinus, Book XIII.] A trial is dissolved by the prohibition of the person who had ordered the trial, or even by the prohibition of a person who has greater power (imperium) in the same jurisdiction, or even if the judge himself begins to be of the same power (imperium) as was the person who ordered the trial.
