[MARCIANUS libro tertio institutionum.
[MARCIAN, Institutes, book 3] The deified brothers warned by an edict that a body which has been delivered to a lawful burial, that is, committed to the earth, must not be disturbed; moreover, it is deemed to be committed to the earth even if it is placed in a small chest, provided that it is with the intention that it should not be transferred elsewhere.
But it must not be denied that, if circumstances require, it is permitted to transfer the chest itself to a more convenient place.
