Justice is the fulfillment of all the commandments. — Human nature, being dim-sighted in its reasoning for the most part, cannot contemplate justice itself purely in the soul, — As it seems, justice is square, equal and uniform on all sides. — God's righteous judgment is likened to our dispositions, and whatever our deeds may be, such things He renders back to us from similar things.
Wickedness would never know either virtue or itself.
Could it be that these three ancestral heads of all humanity, as it also seems to Methodius, have become in a certain image the prefigurations of the holy and consubstantial Trinity, with the uncaused and unbegotten Adam possessing the type and image of the uncaused Father and Almighty God, the cause of all things; and with his begotten son prefiguring the image of the begotten Son and Word of God; and with the emanated Eve signifying the emanated person of the Holy Spirit?
May it be possible for you to keep silent, and it will turn out to be wisdom for you.
