After this, the Ionians were present with their manned ships, and with them also those of the Aeolians who dwell in Lesbos.
ἐτάσσοντο δὲ ὧδε.
And they were arrayed in this manner.
τὸ μὲν πρὸς τὴν ἠῶ εἶχον κέρας αὐτοὶ Μιλήσιοι, νέας παρεχόμενοι ὀγδώκοντα· εἴχοντο δὲ τούτων Πριηνέες δυώδεκα νηυσὶ καὶ Μυήσιοι τρισὶ νηυσί, Μυησίων δὲ Τήιοι εἴχοντο ἑπτακαίδεκα νηυσί, Τηίων δὲ εἴχοντο Χῖοι ἑκατὸν νηυσί·
The Milesians themselves held the wing towards the east, providing eighty ships; next to them were the Prienians with twelve ships and the Myusians with three ships; next to the Myusians were the Teians with seventeen ships, and next to the Teians were the Chians with a hundred ships.
§6.8.2πρὸς δὲ τούτοισι Ἐρυθραῖοί τε ἐτάσσοντο καὶ Φωκαέες, Ἐρυθραῖοι μὲν ὀκτὼ νέας παρεχόμενοι, Φωκαέες δὲ τρεῖς· Φωκαέων δὲ εἴχοντο Λέσβιοι νηυσὶ ἑβδομήκοντα· τελευταῖοι δὲ ἐτάσσοντο ἔχοντες τὸ πρὸς ἑσπέρην κέρας Σάμιοι ἑξήκοντα νηυσί.
Next to these were arrayed both the Erythraeans and the Phocaeans, the Erythraeans providing eight ships and the Phocaeans three; next to the Phocaeans were the Lesbians with seventy ships; and last of all were arrayed, holding the wing towards the west, the Samians with sixty ships.
πάντων δὲ τούτων ὁ σύμπας ἀριθμὸς ἐγένετο τρεῖς καὶ πεντήκοντα καὶ τριηκόσιαι τριήρεες.
The total number of all these was three hundred and fifty-three triremes.
