Mazares after this marched against those who had joined in the siege of Tabalus; and on the one hand he enslaved the people of Priene, and on the other hand he overran the whole plain of the Maeander, making it booty for his army, and did the same to Magnesia.
μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα αὐτίκα νούσῳ τελευτᾷ.
Immediately after this, he died of a disease.
