After this, holding Orchomenus already, the allies deliberated on which of the remaining places they ought to march against first.
καὶ Ἠλεῖοι μὲν ἐπὶ Λέπρεον ἐκέλευον, Μαντινῆς δὲ ἐπὶ Τεγέαν· καὶ προσέθεντο οἱ Ἀργεῖοι καὶ Ἀθηναῖοι τοῖς Μαντινεῦσιν.
And the Eleans urged going against Lepreum, but the Mantineans against Tegea; and the Argives and the Athenians sided with the Mantineans.
§5.62.2καὶ οἱ μὲν Ἠλεῖοι ὀργισθέντες ὅτι οὐκ ἐπὶ Λέπρεον ἐψηφίσαντο ἀνεχώρησαν ἐπ’ οἴκου· οἱ δὲ ἄλλοι ξύμμαχοι παρεσκευάζοντο ἐν τῇ Μαντινείᾳ ὡς ἐπὶ Τεγέαν ἰόντες.
And the Eleans, being angry because the others had not voted to go against Lepreum, returned home; but the other allies made preparations in Mantinea with the intention of marching against Tegea.
καί τινες αὐτοῖς καὶ αὐτῶν τῶν ἐν τῇ πόλει ἐνεδίδοσαν τὰ πράγματα.
And some of those within the city itself were also trying to betray the affairs to them.
