§4.119.1‘ταῦτα ξυνέθεντο Λακεδαιμόνιοι [καὶ ὤμοσαν] καὶ οἱ ξύμμαχοι Ἀθηναίοις καὶ τοῖς ξυμμάχοις μηνὸς ἐν Λακεδαίμονι Γεραστίου δωδεκάτῃ.
‘These things the Lacedaemonians and their allies agreed upon [and swore to] with the Athenians and their allies, on the twelfth day of the month Gerastius at Lacedaemon.
§4.119.2ξυνετίθεντο δὲ καὶ ἐσπένδοντο Λακεδαιμονίων μὲν οἵδε· Ταῦρος Ἐχετιμίδα, Ἀθήναιος Περικλείδα, Φιλοχαρίδας Ἐρυξιλαΐδα· Κορινθίων δὲ Αἰνέας Ὠκύτου, Εὐφαμίδας Ἀριστωνύμου· Σικυωνίων δὲ Δαμότιμος Ναυκράτους, Ὀνάσιμος Μεγακλέους· Μεγαρέων δὲ Νίκασος Κεκάλου, Μενεκράτης Ἀμφιδώρου· Ἐπιδαυρίων δὲ Ἀμφίας Εὐπαιΐδα· Ἀθηναίων δὲ οἱ στρατηγοὶ Νικόστρατος Διειτρέφους, Νικίας Νικηράτου, Αὐτοκλῆς Τολμαίου’. §4.119.3ἡ μὲν δὴ ἐκεχειρία αὕτη ἐγένετο, καὶ ξυνῇσαν ἐν αὐτῇ περὶ τῶν μειζόνων σπονδῶν διὰ παντὸς ἐς λόγους.
And those who agreed and made libations were, of the Lacedaemonians, the following: Taurus son of Echetimidas, Athenaeus son of Pericleidas, Philocharidas son of Eryxilaidas; of the Corinthians, Aeneas son of Ocytus, Euphamidas son of Aristonymus; of the Sicyonians, Damotimus son of Naucrates, Onasimus son of Megacles; of the Megarians, Nicasus son of Cecalus, Menecrates son of Amphidorus; of the Epidaurians, Amphias son of Eupaiidas; and of the Athenians, the generals, Nicostratus son of Diitrephes, Nicias son of Niceratus, Autocles son of Tolmaeus.’ This armistice, then, took place, and during it they met continually for conferences concerning a more general treaty.
